Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about Correx and international money transfers
Compare Rates NowHow does Correx work?
Correx is a comparison platform that helps you find the cheapest way to send money internationally. Simply enter where you're sending from, where you're sending to, and how much you want to send. We'll show you real-time quotes from 20+ providers side-by-side, so you can compare fees, exchange rates, and delivery times in one place. Once you choose a provider, you'll be redirected to their website to complete your transfer.
Is Correx really free to use?
Yes, Correx is 100% free for users. We don't charge any fees, and you don't need to sign up to compare rates. We're paid by providers when you complete a transfer through our platform, not by you. This means we can offer our service completely free while helping you save money.
How often are the rates updated?
Our rates are updated in real-time. When you search for a quote, we fetch the latest rates directly from each provider's API, ensuring you see the most current prices available. Exchange rates can change frequently, so we always show you the most up-to-date information.
Are the providers on Correx safe and regulated?
Absolutely. All providers listed on Correx are licensed and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) in the UK or equivalent regulatory bodies in their operating countries. We only partner with trusted, established providers that have proper licenses and security measures in place. Your money and personal information are protected with bank-level security.
Can I trust the comparison results?
Yes. We show you real-time quotes directly from each provider's API, so the prices you see are exactly what the provider will charge. We display all fees transparently, including fixed fees, variable fees, and exchange rate markups. The quotes are valid for a short period (usually 2 minutes), after which rates may change. We always recommend confirming the final price on the provider's website before completing your transfer.
What if I need help with my transfer?
Once you click through to a provider's website, you'll complete your transfer directly with them. If you need help with your transfer, you should contact the provider's customer support team. However, if you have questions about using Correx or comparing providers, you can reach out to our support team at support@correx.com. We're here to help you find the best rates and understand the comparison process.
How much can I save using Correx?
Savings vary depending on the corridor, amount, and which provider you were using before. On average, users save 30-90% compared to traditional banks. For example, sending £500 to Nigeria could save you £15-45 compared to using a high street bank. The larger the transfer amount, the more you typically save. We show you exactly how much each provider charges, so you can see your potential savings before you transfer.
Do you store my personal information?
No. Correx doesn't require you to create an account or provide personal information to compare rates. We only track anonymous usage data to improve our service. If you choose to create an account (optional), we'll store your email and preferences, but we never share your information with third parties. You can delete your account and data at any time. For more details, see our Privacy Policy.
Can I set up rate alerts?
Rate alerts are coming soon! We're working on a feature that will let you set alerts for specific corridors (e.g., 'Notify me when GBP → NGN rate is better than 1,950'). You'll be able to receive email or SMS notifications when your target rate is reached. This feature will be available for registered users in the coming months.
Which countries and currencies are supported?
Correx supports transfers to 160+ countries and 50+ currencies. Popular corridors include UK → Nigeria, UK → Ghana, UK → India, UK → Pakistan, US → Mexico, and many more. You can search for any corridor on our homepage, and we'll show you all available providers for that route. We're constantly adding new corridors based on user demand.
How long do transfers take?
Transfer times vary by provider and corridor. Some providers offer instant transfers (5 minutes to a few hours), while others take 1-3 business days. We show the estimated delivery time for each provider in our comparison results, so you can choose based on speed if you need money to arrive quickly. Express options are usually available for an additional fee.
What payment methods are accepted?
Most providers accept bank transfers, debit cards, and credit cards. Some providers also accept other payment methods like Apple Pay, Google Pay, or digital wallets. The available payment methods depend on the provider and your location. When you click through to a provider's website, you'll see all available payment options for your specific transfer.
